The Foundation would like to formally announce the winners of the 2013 Freehold Township Education Foundation’s William J. Setaro Building Blocks for Innovation Competitive Grants Program:
Lisa Gordon: Music teacher at West Freehold Elementary School, won a grant for $2500 to implement a Music Keyboard Lab. Students will have the opportunity to build musical skills through ear training, theory/harmony and keyboard performance in a group setting, teaching 400 students in the pilot program in grades 2-5. |

Patty Marshall: 4th grade teacher at J. J. Catena School, won a $2500 grant to purchase Chrome books for everyday use in every subject. Students will engage in research to support differentiated tasks at various levels of depth and complexity. |
