“iPads for Art” $4900 – Joseph J. Catena School Colleen LaSalle (technology coordinator) and Kim Mulligan (art teacher): Through the use of iPads along with Artsonia and Claymation, Mrs. Mulligan will enhance the digital art program by allowing students multiple opportunities to create and share their artwork with the latest technology. |

“Smart Robots for Curious Minds” $3600 – Laura Donovan School Monica Hittinger (science teacher) Jane Kablaoui (media specialist):
This is a program that used robotics to teach computer coding and offers active engagement in the scientific and engineering practices. |

“MaKey MaKey” $1000 – Marshall W. Errickson School Mrs. Julia Henderson (music teacher): With this invention students are able to expand their knowledge of circuits, electricity and sound to create and compose new music using a new technologically innovative methodology. |

“Traverse Rock Climbing” $500 – Laura Donovan School Ted Olsen and Tami Campfield (physical education teachers):
This project will teach students the knowledge, skills and dispositions needed to develop healthy, active lifestyles by enhancing their muscular strength and endurance during various rock wall activities. |
